Why a roll beats a box of dots
One size of circle was never going to fit every breakout.
- Cut it to the shape you need — one spot, a cluster, or a long strip down a jawline
- A barrier, not a reminder — your fingers meet the cover instead of the bump
- Absorbs surface fluid overnight — and turns cloudy white when the piece is full
- Plain hydrocolloid — no salicylic acid, no benzoyl peroxide, nothing added
- About 1,500 pieces a roll — sixteen feet, well over a year for most people
- Cut to fit
- Overnight
- No actives
- Under makeup
- 60 nights

Maelune Hydrocolloid Roll
Two inches wide, sixteen feet long. You cut the piece you need — a small square for one spot, a long strip for a jawline, something bigger for a cluster — press it onto clean dry skin, and leave it six to twelve hours.
Underneath, the hydrocolloid absorbs surface fluid and turns cloudy white as it fills. On top, it sits between your fingers and the spot for the whole night.
No salicylic acid. No benzoyl peroxide. Nothing added. If you already have a routine that’s doing the treating, this isn’t another step competing with it — it’s the covering.

One roll, or forty-odd boxes
Cut at the size of a standard patch, one roll is around 1,500 pieces. A box of dots is usually 36. You are buying the same material either way — the difference is that one comes pre-cut into circles someone else chose, at about 36¢ a circle.
Where it helps, and where it doesn’t
Good for
- Whiteheads and surface spots with fluid near the top
- Spots you’ve already picked at
- Clusters, chin and jawline areas, cut to one piece
- Overnight wear, under makeup during the day
Not for
- Blackheads — nothing near the surface to absorb
- Deep cystic spots — cover it to keep your hands off, but it won’t draw anything out
- Broken or infected skin that needs looking at properly
- Layering directly over freshly applied acne medication
If a spot is painful, deep or not healing, that’s a question for a professional rather than a patch.
